Having a Mid-Life Crisis Miracle is what i do best
Adventurous, inspirational, dreamer...call me what you want but we all know that i am probably having a mid-life crisis! That feeling of time is running out and i need to do something that means something is REAL! Maybe taking on some property projects that i can escape to is what my soul is craving?
when you believe that renovating a house is simple

You start with inspiration...
...actually you start with a thought. Maybe you spot something whilst scrolling. Or you read about someone or watch some tv show where singularly ill-prepared and often poorly suited people throw caution to the wind and embark on a crazy adventure.
You laugh at their efforts. Jacking in a sensible, steady, comfortable life to chase some sort of dream. What fools...
Then over the coming days and nights you begin to wonder if you are the crazy one; getting up at the same time, doing the same thing, every day. Day after day. On repeat. And you ask yourself - is this it? What am i waiting for? What is this all for?
So out comes the phone, and you start scrolling...and within 10 minutes you have found THE property and your mind goes into maximum DREAM overload. The thought of this new life begins to worm its way into your very bones and soon everything is focused on THAT new thing. You have to chase that DREAM.
Is that you? It certainly is me. And whilst others may say it is a mid-life crisis, i say it is a mid-life miracle: the most wonderful feeling you can have.
Obviously the DREAM is full of adventure, learning and set backs. But when you get your mid-life miracle, you will overcome EVERYTHING (and enjoy it).
Don't believe me? That's ok, you don't have to because i do and that is all that matters. Faith can move mountains so shifting some rubble is no sweat!
The 'i thought it would be easy' projects

The lopsided one
Let's start the mid-life crisis with an unmortgageable, subsiding terrace house that needs everything replaced, renewed or renovated!

The French one
Let's try having a 'crise de la quarantaine' (mid-life crisis) by doing it in France!

The seaside one (BigBarnLittleBarn)
In for a penny, in for (someone else's million) pounds!

The Italian one
'You bought a mountainside house in Italy? You were only supposed to go on bloody holiday!'
